Frances Greig has created a beautiful set of illustrations for the G-Lish Foundation – a non-government organisation which was started in early 2010 in the upper east region of (the republic of) Ghana, Africa. The purpose of the foundation is to empower the Ghanaian people by bringing sustainable development to rural communities where poverty is pronounced and farm based substance living is rife.

Created earlier this year, the illustration above was designed to visualise the foundation’s activities, and inspire volunteers to engage and participate in the G-Lish volunteer program.
The G-Lish foundation focuses on three key areas:
• Improved economic standards – through income generating projects and initiatives.
• Improved environmental management – through landscape preservation, education and recycling.
• Improved social standards – through training, project participation and education.
This illustration was commissioned as part of the launch of the G-Lish volunteer program.
