Peter has been busy lately. With his twelve-month residency at Sydney Dance Company coming to a close, he first collated the hours of footage he filmed over the course of the residency to produce a series of Artist Snapshots, and now he has released his debut short film, titled ONE WAY: A Journey Through The Land Of Yes And The Land Of No, produced for Sydney Dance Company’s upcoming season at Sydney Theatre.

Amy Hollingsworth is Sydney Dance Company’s Dance Director, and is a huge part of the dancers’ day to day – organising dancer schedules, assisting Rafael in working with the dancers, and is basically the glue that holds the team together.
Amy retired from her career as a professional performer last year, with her final performance as a duet in Rafael Bonachela’s Irony of Fate, performed with Ruth Palmer on violin. It was a poignant finale to a stellar career, as Irony of Fate was in fact the first work that Rafael and Amy had created together years ago as Choreographer and Dancer respectively.
In this episode, Amy talks about her role as Dance Director at Sydney Dance Company and the creative process between Artistic Director Rafael Bonachela, composer Ezio Bosso and the Dancers.
